Job Description

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and fabrication, is seeking a dedicated Assembly Machine Operator to join their team. As an Assembly Machine Operator, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting metal fabrication and blind assembly teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembly Machine Operator

Location: Durham, NY

Pay Range: $22

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

What's the Job?

• Operate metal fabrication equipment including semi-automated sheet metal folder, metal shear, and CNC cutting table
• Work with the roller shade fabrication team to cut fabric, tubes, and assemble blinds
• Assist in packing and palletizing orders to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency
• Follow safety protocols and quality standards during all production processes

What's Needed?

• Experience with metal fabrication equipment or operating computer-controlled machinery preferred
• Ability to work Monday through Friday during scheduled hours
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable and punctual with a positive work ethic
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and equipment
