About the Firm

With decades of experience, the firm provides comprehensive legal counsel across a wide range of disciplines. Its attorneys strategically litigate on behalf of transportation entities, insurers, and product manufacturers, while also advising clients on regulatory, transactional, commercial, and tax matters. The client base includes shippers, aviation and aerospace companies, surface transportation organizations, and nonprofit institutions.

The firm’s attorneys are nationally and internationally recognized for their deep expertise in the transportation and insurance industries. They have handled complex matters across the United States and in numerous foreign jurisdictions, at the investigatory, regulatory, trial, and appellate levels. With offices in major U.S. cities, the firm is well-positioned to serve clients effectively and efficiently.

Position Summary

The firm is seeking a talented attorney with at least three years of experience in insurance defense and product liability litigation to join its growing team. The successful candidate will represent a diverse range of clients, including domestic and international air carriers, insurance providers, trucking and transportation companies, and other corporate entities.

This role offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated litigation involving personal injury, wrongful death, property damage, cargo loss, product liability, and other tort claims , while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in insurance defense and product liability matters involving personal injury, wrongful death, property damage, and cargo loss.
  • Manage all phases of litigation, including taking and defending depositions, drafting pleadings and motions, and preparing for trial.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop case strategies and provide clear, practical legal guidance.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for courtroom advocacy—while prior trial experience is preferred, it is not required.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
  • Admission to the New York and New Jersey bars (or eligibility to waive into New Jersey).
  • 3–5 years of experience in insurance defense, product liability, and/or wrongful death litigation.
  • Proven ability to independently manage depositions and motion practice.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail and case management.
  • Prior trial experience is a plus but not required.
