Contract Tax Appeal Attorney – Chicago, IL

Are you a licensed Illinois attorney with experience in property tax appeals? We’re hiring a Contract Tax Appeal Attorney to support a dynamic legal team in Chicago. This is a flexible contract opportunity ideal for attorneys seeking impactful work in a collaborative environment.

???? Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in property tax appeal proceedings at county and state levels

• Analyze assessments and develop legal strategies for appeal

• Draft and file petitions, complaints, and legal briefs

• Advocate for clients in hearings and administrative forums

• Collaborate with appraisers and consultants to support case strategy

✅ Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school

• Active Illinois law license

• 3+ years of experience in property tax appeals or related legal practice

• Strong research, negotiation, and communication skills

???? Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $50–$85/hour (based on experience)

Pay Details: $50.00 to $85.00 per week
