Job Title: Die Maker
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Die Maker to join our night shift team. This role involves maintaining the existing press operations in the event of tooling or forming issues. Additionally, you will be responsible for building transfer and progressive dies as new business opportunities arise.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and keep existing press operations running during tooling or forming issues.
• Build transfer and progressive dies with new business additions.
• Perform die repair and troubleshooting.
• Execute surface grinding and TIG welding tasks.
• Sharpen steels and perform shimming as necessary.
• Handle maintenance repair and transfer presses.

• Proficiency in tool and die making.
• Strong troubleshooting and tooling skills.
• Experience in die repair and die making.
• Proven ability in surface grinding and TIG welding.
• Experience with progressive dies and stamping.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in die making.
• Ability to flip tooling and change or repair details.
• At least 2 years of experience in TIG welding.
• 2+ years of experience in surface grinding tooling and details.
• Class A surface experience is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
