About the Role
We are seeking an Experienced Tax Preparer to join our accounting team for the upcoming tax season. This seasonal, in-house position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work with a team in a professional CPA firm environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals
• Prepare some business tax returns for small businesses, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations
• Review tax data and ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
• Communicate with clients to collect financial information and resolve tax questions
• Assist with tax planning and year-end adjustments as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy across all client files

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on tax preparation experience preferred
• Experience using UltraTax CS or similar professional tax software
• Strong knowledge of current IRS and state tax regulations
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication
