General responsibilities * Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment, including forklifts, loaders, and other rolling stock. * Conduct diagnostic tests to identify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems. * Repair, rebuild, and replace worn or malfunctioning parts, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. * Troubleshoot and repair complex hydraulic and electrical issues. * Service engine and fuel systems, including modern computerized and electronic control systems. * Perform emergency repairs in the field to minimize equipment downtime. * Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
