Junior Marketing Coordinator

We are presently searching for a Junior Marketing Coordinator based in our Chicago Studio. The Junior Marketing Coordinator, while working under direct supervision, is responsible for coordinating activities involved in the preparation of marketing proposals, presentations and submittals.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct market and prospect research.
  • Maintain digital and printed marketing materials
  • Maintain marketing information systems, including database and other resources
  • Coordinate work of vendors (photographers, reprographics, etc.)
  • Participate in marketing meetings and produce marketing reports, as required.
  • Monitor general and industry publications (including websites) to keep apprised of developments, trends, and promotional opportunities.
  • Participate in the development of press releases, brochure copy, articles, blog and social networking posts, and other promotional materials.
  • Participate in the strategizing and development of proposals, presentations and other marketing collateral.

Required education and work experience:

  • BA in marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1 year experience in marketing support of interior design, construction, engineering, architecture, or related industry.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Familiar with the professional services industry, architecture and design industry and/or marketing in general through past work experience or an internship.
  • Compiles data from various identified sources. Enters data into database. Assists in establishing and maintaining an effective records management system.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Adobe InDesign. Proficiency in other Creative Cloud programs is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office application skills, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated proofreading ability.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Comfortable with multiple fast-paced tasks and time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Team player who is reliable, flexible and collaborative.

Salary Range: 55,000 - 62,500 based on education and experience:
