Job Title: Mechanical Assembler Job Description We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler with a robust mechanical skillset and a keen interest in the automotive industry. This role involves hands-on work with maintenance, wiring, and plumbing in automotive contexts, as well as threading pipe with machinery and rotating it. Experience with hand and power tools is essential, as well as working with transmissions, flanges, and wrenches.
Responsibilities - Perform mechanical installations and maintenance tasks.
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively for various automotive and mechanical tasks.
- Thread pipe using machinery and rotate as necessary.
- Work with transmissions, flanges, and wrenches to ensure proper assembly and maintenance.
- Conduct plumbing tasks related to automotive systems.
Essential Skills - Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience, preferably in the automotive field.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and on vehicles and tanks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Experience with 2\" black copper pipe.
- Familiarity with automotive systems, including PTO's on transmissions and drive product pumps.
- Ability to tighten bolts on flanges and pumps.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the automotive and propane fields.

Work Environment Work in a non-climate-controlled environment where conditions can vary between hot and cold. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided, including coveralls, and while steel-toed shoes are not required, closed-toed footwear is necessary.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Apex, NC.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
