Job Description

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this
role, you will assemble and test complex mechanical systems used in plastics processing,
including gravimetric batch blenders, pneumatic conveying systems, vacuum loaders, and
material grinders. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with
industrial equipment assembly, and the ability to work from technical drawings and
schematics.

Key Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical components for gravimetric batch blenders, pneumatic vacuum
systems i.e. vacuum pumps, plastic material grinders, and conveying systems according
to engineering specifications.
Install motors, rotors, gearboxes, bearings, and other mechanical parts with precision.
Perform functional testing and troubleshooting of assembled equipment.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments during assembly.
Collaborate with production manager and quality teams to resolve assembly issues.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or industrial equipment manufacturing.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Experience
Familiarity with plastics processing equipment and pneumatic systems.
Basic understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics.
Experience in an ISO-certified manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Standing, bending, and working with hands for extended periods.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $22.00 - $24.00
