Twin City Staffing is seeking a dedicated mechanical assembler to join our team. If you have a keen eye for detail and experience using various tools, this opportunity is for you!


Location: Coon Rapids, MN


Wage:

• 1st shift: $20/hr.
• 2nd shift: $22/hr.

Hours:

• 1st shift: 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday - Thursday
• 2nd shift: 3:30 pm to 2 am, Monday - Thursday

Duties of the mechanical assembler:

• Follow assembly instructions and blueprints
• Measure pieces and ensure proper fit
• Use hand and power tools to assemble parts and components
• Fit, adjust, and install parts and subassemblies
• Operate and tend assembling equipment
• Conduct quality control checks and inspect parts for accuracy
• Maintain inventory and update daily reports
• Clean and maintain work area
• Assist other assemblers when needed

Requirements of the mechanical assembler:

• 3+ years of mechanical assembly experience
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to operate a hoist
• Able to lift/carry up to 70+ lbs and push/pull up to 80 lbs
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
