Overview
Our affiliate, Unified Women's Healthcare of the Carolinas, is looking for a Full?Time Clinic?Based Certified Nurse Midwife to join their Women's Health Care Center in Rocky Mount, NC. Join a growing, collaborative group of physicians, certified nurse midwives, and women's health nurse practitioners who provide a team approach to patient care within a supportive practice culture.
Certified nurse midwife (CNM) is responsible for working closely with both gynecologic and obstetric patients, and providing health care to women post?pregnancy. The CNM will assist with prenatal care, postpartum care, and may also provide reproductive care, treatment, and education to patients.
Position Highlights:
* The practice team consists of 4 OB/GYN physicians, 1 GYN only physician, 2 certified nurse midwives, 1 women's health nurse practitioner, and a great administrative support team.
* Established and successful practice that has served the Rocky Mount area for over 50 years.
* Patient Census in Clinic: up to 20?25 per day.
* Duties include seeing patients, completing charting, responding to patient phone calls and messages, and providing patient education..
* 5 day per week work schedule with ? day Fridays, no nights, weekends, or hospital shifts.
* Role is centered on working primarily with obstetrics patients but will also see some benign gynecology patients.
* Strong work/life balance. No call required for this position, clinic only.
* Ability to build up own patient clinic practice within the group.

Requirements:
* AMCB Certified Nurse?Midwife
* Graduate of a nurse?midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
* Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN)
* Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license
* CPR and NALS Certification
* Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
* One year of full?time experience as a CNM is preferred
* Labor & Delivery experience preferred
