OPS Research Assistant Position Information: Location: Gainesville, FL (Main Campus) Work Type: Part Time; 20–25 hours per week Pay: $15.00–$18.00 per hour Closing Date: 1 December 2025 (11:55 p.m. ET) Responsibilities Coordinate and manage behavioral and cognitive neuroscience assessments (EEG, eye‑tracking, behavioral) for an NIH‑funded research study with infants. Recruit and schedule participants, assist with testing sessions, and handle data entry, organization, and backup. Set up rooms, computers, and equipment for testing sessions and maintain the testing environment. Communicate study‑related information to staff and team members; assist with compliance, ordering, and documentation. Support manuscript and grant report preparation and other study‑related tasks such as cleaning, compliance, and working with departmental staff. Required Qualifications BA/BS degree in psychology, neuroscience, cognitive science, or a related field. Experience working with infants and children. Excellent communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience running behavioral or EEG data collection with infants or children (including NIH Baby Toolbox). Experience recruiting families for research studies.
