Jet Technologies is a growing thermoforming company creating vacuum formed parts for multiple industries. We create parts and assemblies using vacuum forming, CNC cutting, hot bending to create components for brands you see every day.

Our mold and pattern shop seeks a craftsman in the mold and pattern arena. Using various materials, the shop creates, modifies, and repairs molds used by production staff to create parts that are beautiful and functional.

The mold shop craftsman will be responsible for:

· Inspecting shop work for quality and accuracy

· Maintaining inventory and documentation

· Communication with shop supervisor, shop manager, and engineering regarding shop needs and statuses.

 

An Ideal candidate will be a person:

· Proficient in writing in English.

· With some CNC operation experience

· Able to read and interpret technical drawings

· Proficient using Microsoft Windows and Office software

· Skilled producing and repairing molds and fixtures made from:

o Wood

o Fiberglass

o Epoxy resins

o Body filler

o Tooling board/foam

• Experienced in thermoforming operations, manufacturing assembly, and hot bending of plastics
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Can prioritize work with minimal direction
• With attention to details in craftsmanship and documentation

 

Spanish speakers are encouraged to join Jet Technologies’ mold shop in this growth opportunity. The shop creates and repairs molds made from tooling board/foam, fiberglass, wood, and other composite materials.

Expected work week is 40 hours a week working 6am to 230pm M-F. Auto body technicians, tool and die, machinists, fabricators, pipefitters, and other tradesmen are encouraged to apply.

Pay is commensurate with experience.
