Physician Liaison / Outreach Coordinator Part-Time Position Boston, MA - Mid Level Join a leading clinician-led behavioral health company today! OptiMindHealth (OMH) is expanding and seeking compassionate professionals to join our team. OMH provides superior behavioral health services to patients in Massachusetts, Colorado, and Montana. Since 2016, we have specialized in serving both adult and adolescent patients in a supportive outpatient environment. Our practice strives to improve access to holistic and cost-effective mental health care while supporting our clinical and administrative staff in all aspects of their work. Position Overview: This entry-level Physician Liaison / Outreach Coordinator role is ideal for candidates with a B2B Sales background focusing on building and managing referral relationships in the healthcare industry. A higher starting salary and growth path are available for those with more experience and a stable work history. On-the-job training will be provided for all job duties, which may expand over time. Compensation is $20-$30/hour based on experience. Primary Responsibilities: Identify, initiate, and maintain contact/relationships with referral sources to yield new referrals and maintain the existing referral base. Conduct sales meetings with medical providers to understand their needs and desires, explaining service line attributes and processes. Track follow-up meetings with medical providers to close new or additional business and address obstacles to business growth. Communicate key trends in service gaps and recommend solutions to senior leadership. Facilitate meetings with healthcare institution staff to gather market intelligence and understand referral patterns. Document meeting results and follow-up in the CRM system; prepare and present weekly activity reports. Contribute to the development of sales strategies and plans for target markets. Evaluate market demographics and referral trends in collaboration with leadership. Work with internal teams to develop marketing materials that support medical providers. Understanding of medical practice, referral relationships, and payer requirements. Experience in planning, organizing, and managing performance goals. Ability to respond proactively to client/customer needs. Experience cultivating productive relationships with clients. Proven ability to achieve targets independently. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours. Skills and Strengths: Excellent interpersonal and listening skills. Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people. Experience in sales, marketing, or public relations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to motivate and persuade referring doctors. Familiarity with electronic health records and sales software. Personality and Character: Strong work ethic and integrity. Tenacious and positive attitude. Outgoing and friendly demeanor. Creativity and problem-solving skills. Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or public health administration.
