We are seeking a Research Assistant in the Department of Radiation Oncology and Molecular Radiation Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine to assist with Neuro-Oncology research. Specific Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for data collection, data management, data analysis and statistical modeling for neuro-oncology and spine tumor research. Will work closely with the principal investigator on research activities including a radio genomics clinical trial. Very strong organizational skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. Adhere to strict confidentiality requirements. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written. Make independent judgments about data being analyzed and to act on decisions on a daily basis. Prioritize personal workflow and the work of other staff as needed. Work with flexibility on several tasks simultaneously and to meet various concurrent deadlines. Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of University and Hospital employees as well as outside contacts. Potential opportunity to be first author of manuscript(s) as appropriate. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in related discipline. Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. Preferred Qualifications Experience with biostatistics is highly valued. Interest and/or experience with neurosciences or oncology.
