***Work Schedule: Hybrid schedule, Monday through Thursday. Required in-office days: Tuesday and Wednesday. Remote flexibility on Monday and Thursday (based on business needs), Fridays off.

We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of innovative medical devices. As a key member of our team, you'll design, develop, and maintain software that meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

\n

About the Role:

\n

In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to define software requirements, develop solutions, and ensure timely delivery. You'll leverage your expertise in software development best practices, including object-oriented design, event-driven architecture, and testability, to drive technical excellence. Your experience with embedded systems, Linux, and cloud computing platforms will be crucial in developing high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead software development projects, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • \n
  • Collaborate with teams to define software requirements, design solutions, and develop software that meets the needs of our medical devices
  • \n
  • Develop, test, and document software, adhering to established Quality Standards and regulatory requirements
  • \n
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting best practices and technical excellence
  • \n
  • Stay current with new technologies and developments in the field, applying that knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
  • \n

Requirements:

\n
    \n
  • 8-10 years of experience in software development, preferably in the medical device industry, 8-10 years of experience in software development, preferably in the medical device industry, with a strong background in C/C++ and Python programming languages
  • \n
  • Proven expertise in software development best practices, including object-oriented design, SOLID, event-driven architecture, and experience with multimedia processing, interface design, and testability
  • \n
  • Experience working with RTOS, cross-compilers, and other technologies in embedded applications, as well as administering Linux distributions and working with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • \n
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, and experience with microservices architecture
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of internet technologies, communication protocols, networking, and network security, as well as UI/UX design principles
  • \n
  • Experience with design documentation for software and ability to develop high-quality, maintainable code
  • \n
