Technical Business Analyst (TBA)


Pay: $30 $37 on W2. Depending on Experience
Contract: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire. This will go long term.
Location: Remote (Work From Home)

Job Summary

Technical Business Analyst (TBA) to support the K-12 School Services Center of Excellence. This role focuses on product support, product implementation, project coordination, and cross-functional communication. The TBA will assist with timelines, requirements gathering, user training, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation to ensure successful product delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with product software implementation activities including planning, coordination, execution, and follow-up

  • Support project management functions by:

    • Tracking timelines, milestones, risks, and deliverables

    • Preparing status reports and stakeholder documentation

    • Facilitating communication between cross-functional teams

  • Conduct user testing and manual testing to validate product features and identify issues

  • Assist with wireframing and product workflow documentation; leverage exposure to Axure and UX tools

  • Participate in business requirements gathering and contribute to BRD documentation

  • Provide user training and support during product rollouts and enhancements

  • Perform troubleshooting and IT support related to product implementations

  • Support process improvement initiatives across COE functional areas

  • Provide administrative and operational support for ongoing projects and product teams

  • Create reports for users, leadership, and project stakeholders

  • Use Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Visio, Project) to support project tracking and documentation

  • Use project management tools (Asana, Jira, MS Project, ProductPlan, or similar) to support execution and reporting

Required Skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Proficiency with project management tools (Asana, Jira, ProductPlan, MS Project, or similar)

  • Ability to conduct user testing and document findings

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Visio, Project)

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders in a fast-paced, remote environment

  • Ability to provide troubleshooting, user support, and clear technical documentation

Required Experience
  • Experience in product support, software implementation, or project coordination

  • Experience gathering business requirements and creating BRD documentation

  • Familiarity with software implementation best practices

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (IT, UX, Product, Business Operations)

  • Exposure to User Experience tools such as Axure and foundational wireframing concepts

  • Knowledge of basic project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments)

  • Occasional virtual meetings and collaboration sessions with internal teams
