\n\nJob Details:
\n• Patient ratios: 1:2-3 in SICU, 1:3-4 when floating to step down unit
\n• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
\n• No on-call requirements
\n• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including step down units
\n• Scrub color: Navy blue
\n• Charting system: Epic
\n• 2 years of nursing experience required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC, CSC
\n• Virginia or compact license required
\n• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
\n• Mandatory skills: CRRT Prismax and at least one other specialty skill
\n• Preferred skills: IABP, Impella, CRRT Prismax, and EVD Drain
\n• Care for specialized trauma patients, CV surgery patients, neurosurgery patients, and complicated surgical cases
\n• Manage patients with acute ventilator needs, severe sepsis, unstable GI bleeds, trauma cases, open heart recovery, TAVR recovery
\n• Skills include arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, CVVHD/CRRT, interpretation of dysrhythmias
\n• Complete up to 8 hours of non-billable modules within 1 week of signing
\n• Travel pairs not allowed on this unit
\n• First-time travelers accepted

\nThis 431-bed short-term acute care hospital operates as a Level II Trauma Center and has been certified as one of the top 50 Cardiovascular Surgery Centers in the United States. The facility features a 38-bed mixed MICU/SICU/CVICU unit that provides specialized care with advanced equipment including Swan catheters, balloon pumps, CRRT machines, and ventilators. The hospital offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
