Position: 1099 Independent Handyman / Plumber Contractor

Compensation: Paid Per Project (Competitive Rates Based on Scope)

Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor

The work performed in this role supports a national beauty supply retailer, providing ongoing store maintenance, fixture replacements, and small remodeling improvements across multiple Ohio locations.

Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities

Permanent Plumbing Improvements & Light Plumbing (Priority):

• Replace plumbing fixtures including toilets, sinks, and faucets
• Install or replace Instahot / under-sink water heaters
• Install or replace standard water heaters (approximately 6–40 gallons)
• Remove and replace FRP (fiberglass reinforced panels)
• General Handyman & Property Maintenance Tasks:
• Replace ceiling tiles in back-of-house areas
• Pick up materials and install shelving
• Perform paint touch-ups on interior surfaces
• Repair drywall holes (patch, sand, finish)
• Replace burned-out light bulbs and light fixture swap-outs when applicable

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years experience in handyman, facility maintenance, or light plumbing work
• Ability to work independently, manage small jobs efficiently, and communicate clearly

Must Haves

• Own tools
• Reliable transportation
• Mobile phone for documentation and communication
• General Liability Insurance preferred (or willing to obtain)
• Eligible to work in the U.S. (W-9 required)

Compensation:

• Paid per project based on pre-approved scope
• Contractor invoices upon completion; payments processed on standard schedule
