Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate new suppliers to meet material and component requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to optimize cost and quality.
• Generate and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor supplier performance and foster strong relationships to ensure supply chain reliability.
• Collaborate with production and planning teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Identify and implement cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality or supply.
• Ensure all purchased goods and services comply with company quality standards and specifications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing purchasing or procurement role.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365) for order management and inventory control.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
• Solid understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with specific ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
• Demonstrated experience in global sourcing and logistics
• Technical aptitude or background in relevant manufacturing materials/components
• Strong data analysis skills for spend optimization and market trend identification
