Bassett Healthcare Network , a progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University is seeking a full-time BC/BE Nephrologist. Visa Sponsorship Available.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Join an established group of 5 Nephrologists, 2 Nurse Practitioners
• 50% outpatient clinic and hospital responsibilities at Bassett Medical Center
• 50% regional travel with focus in Oneonta and Cobleskill
• Potential for Medical Directorship of Dialysis Unit
• Call 11 weeks per year Monday 8 AM Monday 8 AM
• 30-50 follow up dialysis patients
• 10-30 follow up transplant patients
• Potential for faculty appointment from Columbia
• Daily interaction with medical students as well as Internal Medicine and Transitional residents.
• EMR-EPIC
• Salary Range: $260,000 - $310,000. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcares good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
• Sign-on Bonus up to $100,000

Job Requirements

• MD, DO or MBBS
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• New York State Licensure
• BLS/ACLS/PALS Certification Required
• DEA Required
